The Applied Technology program helps students prepare for the ever changing and growing technological workplace. Computers are an important part of this technology, and students learn to use MacIntosh and MS DOS formats. The program emphasizes hands-on activities and the development of creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Students must be independent learners with strong reading and reasoning skills in order to be successful.

Applied Technology is a three-year program ideally begun in the sophomore year. The program falls under the regulatory guidance and standards of the Colorado Community College and Occupational Education System.
