Course Credit: 1 CCHE Academic credit

Teacher: Leslie Trexler
Have you ever wondered why snowboards are made the way they are or how they have improved recently? Do you want to make glass? Materials Science is a multidisciplinary approach to science that involves designing, choosing and using the three major classes of materials - metals, ceramics and polymers. Materials Science combines many areas of science: chemistry, physics and engineering. It is the science of making things better, more useful and more economically.
